One Response to Board of Directors

  1. Hi Mike, I’m following up on the phone call we had Wednesday. I had to wait to send because our agency had reached its outbound email limit and our IT dept had to raise the limit before I could send this. I will also submit this to your wordpress website as you suggested.
This request for your Veterans Organization’s participation was made on behalf of the American Indian Health & Family Services Winter Solstice planning committee, which is why you will notice I have included Nickole Fox in this message. She is organizing the Solstice gathering we are having. During the recent planning for this event it was suggested we ask All Nations Veteran’s group and NAVASEMI to help us out by way of providing security for our event. We would like to offer a $100 honorarium for your group should your group be able to help us out. The location has changed this year. It will be at Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation, 1211 Trumbull, Detroit, 48216. Be advised that All Nations Vets has been asked to help as well, due to most of the parking will have to be on the surrounding street blocks. We thought we could divide up the blocks to each Veteran’s group such that All Nations could watch the area’s off of Howard and Trumbull and NAVASEMI could watch the area’s off of Abbott and Trumbull.
Lastly I will include in this message that I believe the planning committe was unaware of the 30 day advance notice for this type of request and in the future will take this into consideration. Our apologies for the somewhat short notice. Let us know what your group decides. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Respectfully,

    John Marcus
